Meet the product

I built FinX because I wanted a finance tracker where I decide where the data lives. It is a web app with a Node.js and PostgreSQL backend plus a native Android app. What it does: income, expenses, budgets and savings goals with categories, sources and targets. Recurring rules for salary, rent and subscriptions. Works offline on the phone and syncs when you are back online. Sharing with per-user edit rights. 10 languages, 5 themes, dark mode. Self-hosting is free and includes every Pro feature (Docker Compose or a Debian/Ubuntu installer): github.com/IT-BAER/finx. If you do not want to run a server, FinX Pro is the managed hosting at myfinx.app, 5.99 EUR a month or 59.99 EUR a year after a 7 day trial, with the database in Germany. The Android app in local mode is free without an account. The license is Apache 2.0 with Commons Clause, so source-available, not OSI open source. The Android app itself is closed source.
