Know where the information comes from.
Use these standards to understand the evidence behind our builder resources. Published October 26, 2026.
Different kinds of evidence
- Maker supplied: product details submitted by a founder. Review before publication is not an independent product test.
- Official source: facts drawn from a provider’s own documentation, with a source link and a check date where stated.
- Firsthand observation: something our team actually tested or recorded. We describe the method and limitations when publishing results.
- Customer reported: information attributed to a customer, published with permission where required.
- Illustrative estimate: fictional scenarios and calculator assumptions. They are not forecasts, customer results, or measured demand.
Prices and changing facts
The provider’s current terms govern its service. A check date records when we consulted a source; it does not mean we continuously monitor it. When a price is only available during submission or by quote, we say so rather than inventing a number. Confirm currency, billing period, taxes, renewal terms, and extra fees before paying.
How we select resources
The builder hub starts with four destinations covering launch discovery, business software evaluation, software alternatives, and early-stage startups. Inclusion is an editorial starting point, not a ranking or proof of effectiveness. We do not assign traffic estimates or quality scores without supporting evidence.

Commercial coverage
ShowMeYourSaaS offers product profiles and commercial coverage. Our service is presented separately from external resources. Paid coverage is not independent testing or an endorsement of every product claim. Commercial relationships must be identified, and paid outgoing product links use a sponsored relationship.
Results and limitations
Submission, approval, and a live listing are separate delivery states. Search visibility, AI citations, visits, and sales are separate outcomes. We do not guarantee rankings, AI recommendations, or customer acquisition. Any future results report should state its sample size, observation period, method, and missing data.
