About OpenWork

OpenWork combines an open-source desktop agent workspace with services for connecting tools, model providers, and a team. Start with one repeatable internal task and explicitly choose the files and tools it can use. The desktop application is MIT-licensed, while self-hosting the full platform has separate licensing and organization limits. The published free platform tier covers up to five users with your own keys; paid team plans and optional cloud or model services are separate. Review both software licensing and inference costs before standardizing a team setup.

Set up an agent workspace

Use the desktop app to organize agent work with supported skills, tools, and context.

Connect models and tools

Configure provider keys and MCP access appropriate to the workflow instead of granting every connection.

Check team and hosting terms

Compare the desktop license, platform user limits, paid team features, and optional service costs.
